BJØRNAR NILSEN ØKSENVÅG
Bjørnar is the baritone in Tre Skjeggete Menn. Coming from the opera city of Kristiansund, his background is as varied as they come! The singer and actor started out as an electric bass player in his teens, before going on to study musical theatre at the Oslo based Bårdar Academy. After that came four years at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where he studied classical song and music teaching. As an actor, he has worked in movies and TV-commercials, as well as having performed in musicals and children’s theater. He is an active vocal coach, as well as being a sought after singer for weddings and funerals. As an ensemble-singer, he has sung with Oslo Domkor, Den Norske Studentersangforening, the pop ensemble Digresjon and Christiania Mannskor, to name a few. All of these varied experiences make him a natural fit for the job as the quartet’s MC, a job that he handles with glee, enthusiasm and his own unique charm and wit!
